One life at a time
In May 1997, Delaney Crawley, who had worked 20 years in The Jesus Film Project of Campus Crusade for Christ, led a mission team to Tanzania. They hired and trained two Tanzanian ministers and bought a generator, a projector, film equipment, and thousands of gospel tracts. From bicycles to an ox-cart pulled by a mule, they carried the gospel from village to village. In six months the team had shown the film to 150,000 people and 9,000 were converted to Christ. Their report was the catalyst for HLMA to expand with better equipment and more teams. We have now been ministering in Africa for 10 years!
