a) Indigenous pastors supported by HLA not only bring the JESUS Film to isolated villages and present the Gospel, but they also train and equip local pastors and church leaders who lead the LAMP church started after the JESUS Film is shown.

A LAMP church is a village church that starts after people view the JESUS Film and pray to receive Christ. They start by meeting under a tree, since they do not have a church building yet. The HLA team that brought the Film provides them with an audio Bible, and helps train a Christian leader in how to facilitate the group.

b) Thousands of new LAMP churches are launched every year. The method of growing the local body of Christ by listening to the oral Word of God through the audio Bible has proven very fruitful. Each LAMP church grows over time, and many have since planted other churches in neighboring villages. Praise the Lord!
